Ceramic mosaic for Italian shower floor, bathroom walls or hammam.

Our shop is located in the Paris region, in Villiers sur Marne (94). Carrelage-mosaique has been offering for a few years now, sales via internet, for our customers located all over France and Europe.

Our stone mosaic slabs can be installed in kitchen credenzas, shower trays, bathrooms, hoods.

They are available in the form of slabs. A stone mosaic sheet is more or less 30cm x 30cm. This makes it easier and faster to install.

Suitable for kitchen credenzas, resistant to heat and common cleaning products. Our stone mosaic slabs are highly resistant to water and wear. This means that our mosaics can also be used as bathroom tiles, walk-in shower floors, etc.

Composition of a ceramic tile sheet:

Each ceramic tile is glued to a nylon weave to form a large sheet. Generally 30cm x 30cm.

Installation of a ceramic mosaic tile:

To lay ceramic mosaic, the substrate must be sound. It must be smooth, rigid, even, dry and dust-free.

The same adhesives and tools are used as for traditional tiling.

The stone tiles are cut with mosaic tongs or mosaic pliers. You can also use a grinder or an electric water tile cutter.

The laying (gluing) of the stone mosaic is done in two steps:

The first step is to apply the glue to the surface evenly, in one or two square metre increments (to avoid the glue drying out too quickly) with a tiler's comb. Then position the mosaic slabs next to each other, respecting the space between the joints. Once the tiles are well positioned, level them with a tiling stick.

After the first step has dried (the drying time varies depending on the adhesive and the substrate), the second step is to make the waterproof cement joints between the mosaic tiles.

To make the cement joints, use a plastic float. Apply generously on the mosaic in an even manner and then clean the mosaic with a damp sponge or with a tiler's sponge.

Price for 1 sheet.
